Industry Veteran Toby Daley joins Caledon Group as Underwriting Director
Caledon Group has expanded its insurance portfolio with the launch of Caledon MGA in the UK and Ireland, specialising in home insurance for unique, complex and non-standard household risks that fall outside standard insurer appetite.
Caledon MGA UK and Caledon MGA Ireland combine underwriting expertise with A-rated capacity and a strong focus on individual risk underwriting and broker service. The Caledon team have developed a bespoke home quote broker portal to streamline the quotation process and enable faster responses. As part of the offering, brokers have direct access to an experienced underwriting team for immediate support from quote through to policy.
The launch of the two businesses coincides with the appointment of Toby Daley as Underwriting Director at Caledon Group. Toby joins with over 35 years’ underwriting experience, including Home Underwriting Director at Brown & Brown Europe and ten years at Hiscox. He joins a highly experienced team at Caledon Group with a strong track record of building and scaling insurance businesses.
Toby Daley joins three other Directors of Caledon Group in leadership roles at Caledon MGA, all with extensive knowledge of the specialist home insurance market. These are:
