Andrew Cross
Chairman
Andrew has a long, varied and successful career in the financial services and insurance market. He joined a Lloyd’s broker from school in 1975 and traded in Lloyd’s for 25 years. Building from his close relations with his network, he has since then developed a string of successful insurance brokers and MGAs.
David Whitaker
Managing Director
David started his insurance career in 1990 at United Friendly General Insurance. He enjoyed 10 formative years in underwriting management roles at Hiscox before leading MGA Plum Underwriting from 2007 to 2023, the last 12 years as Managing Director.
Paul Davies
Finance Director
Paul has worked in the insurance industry for nearly 25 years and held board level roles since 2007. He has extensive experience in the UK MGA marketplace and in insurance broking. Paul is responsible for all finance and compliance operations within Caledon.
Steven Bishop
Business Development Director
Steve has spent the majority of his 28-year career working in partnership with UK and Irish intermediaries building an extensive knowledge of both markets. He was most recently Head of Strategic Accounts at Brown & Brown's UK MGA arm.
Toby Daley
Underwriting Director
With over 30 years’ insurance experience and a strong reputation in specialist household underwriting, Toby brings technical expertise, leadership, and market insight to Caledon’s underwriting proposition for complex and non-standard household risks.
