Caledon was incorporated in 2023 by founders David Whitaker, Andrew Cross and Paul Davies looking to leverage their many year’s experience in the UK general insurance market.

In July 2024 Caledon Group was pleased to announce the acquisition of Travel Insurance MGA Voyager Insurance Services and Insurance HoldCo Somerville Group Ltd.
